Ubicado a 16 km de Villa La Angostura, cruzaremos por un antiguo asentamiento poblacional que aun conserva algunas de sus características originales. Recorriendo un sendero que presenta varios desniveles de manera espaciada entre senderos laberínticos rodeados de caña colihue, se llega al gigantesco y magnífico "Coihue Abuelo", ejemplar de aproximadamente 500 años y cuyo tronco es de tal grosor que requiere más de 8 personas para abrazarlo.

ENGLISH VERSION: Located 16 km away from Villa la Angostura, you go across an old village which still preserves some of its original characteristics. Riding along a track with several spaced out drops among labyrinthine paths surrounded by Colihue canes you reach the giant and magnificent 'Grandfather Coihue', specimen that is approximately 500 years old and which trunk is so thick that more than eight people are required to embrace it. Total distance: 32 km. / Length: full day, 7/12 hours. Route: 5 km asphalt and 27 km stony track. / Difficulty: high.
